Why We Start
It started with two moments of “being new.”
One founder moved twice within three months, and the other came from overseas to study in the United States. Both eventually settled in Southern California and faced the same problem.
Their old furniture was too heavy to move, and shipping was far too expensive. Starting a new life was already challenging, and furnishing a new place only made it harder.
This sparked a thought.
What if furniture could be easy to carry, quick to set up, and still look stylish?
With that idea, XDECO created its first chair. It was disassemblable, stackable, and simple to store.
People loved how light and convenient it was compared with traditional bulky or disposable furniture.
The founders soon realized that many others were experiencing the same “new beginning.”
In a fast-moving world, many young people relocate for school, work, or new opportunities. They do not only need large and elegant furniture. They need flexible, stylish pieces that help them create a small corner of home wherever they go.
XDECO was created for people in similar situations, for those finding their place and lifestyle in a new environment. The goal is to help everyone settle in easily and continue life smoothly in a new setting.
What We Design
Southern California’s unique cultural and artistic atmosphere gave the founders inspiration.
The Pacific coastline, warm beaches, gentle sea breeze, and relaxed surfing culture all created a natural sense of freedom.
More importantly, this region brings together people from many cultures and backgrounds.
They respect and learn from one another, shaping a community filled with openness and creativity.
Immersed in this environment, the founders applied this spirit to furniture design.
